Afterglo Home + Body wants to be 100% transparent about the ingredients we use in our products. We use three main oils that you can find in one or more of our products: jojoba oil, apricot oil, and vitamin E.

BODY BUTTER

Shea Butter

Shea butter provides hydration to your skin, making it a great moisturizer to give your skin a healthy glow. It aids in tissue cell regeneration, has incredible healing properties, and has been shown to boost collagen production. Shea butter is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F.

Argan Oil

Argan oil is traditionally referred to as “liquid gold” because it is packed with vitamins A, E and C, antioxidants and omega-6 fatty acids that are essential for healthy skin and hair and are used to protect against environmental damage and premature aging.

Mango Butter

Rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, C, & E, & contains natural emollient qualities that help keep skin moisturized & promotes cell regeneration. Has higher levels of fatty acids than shea butter.

Rosehip Oil

Revitalize your skin with Rosehip Oil. Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, it deeply hydrates and rejuvenates, reducing scars and fine lines for a radiant complexion. Natural and gentle, it's perfect for all skin types

Jojoba Oil

Seals skin with a protective barrier to lock in moisture & is rich in vitamins A, B, D, & E, & fatty acids. Antibacterial & anti-inflammatory. Protects against environmental factors such as pollution & toxins. Can help soothe irritated skin. 

Vitamin E

Moisturizing & healing, helps to strengthen skin barrier function, & is a natural anti-inflammatory.

Sweet Almond Oil

Almond oil is a mild oil that can be safely used even on baby skin. Almond oil is naturally endowed with highly potent antioxidant vitamins. Regular application of the oil can protect the skin from oxidative stress and UV radiation damage, keeping it soft and supple.

Evening Primrose Oil

Perhaps one of the best-known beauty benefits of evening primrose oil is its ability to reduce the symptoms of dryness. The restorative and healing power of evening primrose oil has proven to be a valuable treatment choice for people suffering from skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.

Castor Oil

More than anything else, castor oil is made up of a fatty acid called ricinoleic acid. It’s an emollient that creates a barrier between your skin and the outside world, so it can retain more moisture. Castor oil contains such a high percentage of fat so it can help lubricate your hair strands, keep them from breaking off, help thicken your hair strands, making them more resistant to breakage overall.

Camellia Seed Oil

Camellia oil, also called tea seed oil, is cold pressed from the fruit seeds of the Camellia Sinensisplant. It is rich in vitamins A, B, and E, monounsaturated fats, plant collagen, and antioxidants. Camellia oil is a non-greasy oil that revitalizes hair. It absorbs quickly into hair with exceptional penetration properties as it is close to skin’s natural sebum.
